Product Marketing Manager

B2B software company is looking for a product marketing manager to join their in house marketing team. Working closely with Product Managers, Marketing, Services, Sales, and Channels, the Product Marketing Manager is tasked with planning and executing highly effective customer marketing strategies for one or more solutions. This requires the ability to synthesize the customer & market needs, the changing competitive landscape and differentiators to ensure revenue and market penetration targets are met in support of corporate goals. Highly motivated and attention to detail, the ability to grasp and translate technical capabilities into customer value is crucial.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Customer Marketing – Running customer marketing and communications program in support of product rollout
  • Messaging - Develop product positioning and messaging that differentiates client solutions and products in the market
  • Sales enablement – communicate the value proposition of the products to the sales team and develop the sales tools that support the selling process of products
  • Marketing enablement – Be the product and market expert, providing direction and support to all marketing functions, such as Digital Marketing Strategy, Demand Generation, PR, Communications, Web
  • Product launch – Work cross-functionally to ensure the success of new products and capabilities within the market and client base
  • Content - Be responsible for content development of product material, webcasts, speaking events, in support of internal and external communications.


  • REQUIREMENTS
    Minimum of 2-5 years experience in one or both of the following areas:
  • Product Marketing Manager in a B2B technology company with demonstrated success in launching winning products
  • Web analytics, digital marketing, or business intelligence industry experience
  • Experience in planning and executing winning go-to-market strategies
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Demonstrated success in working in a team-based, collaborative environment
  • Proven ability to succeed in a fast-paced organization
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or technology field
  • Willing to travel up to 20%
