Product Marketing Manager – South America

Aquent's Electronic client is seeking a Storage Product Marketing Manager/South America to work within the Branded Storage Marketing team. This key individual will be responsible for managing client Branded Storage business for South America.

Key tasks will include: Development and execution of strategies and relevant programs for client's Branded Storage Product line; Creation of new product launch plans; Development and management of marketing plans to promote the growth of clients Branded Storage business in South America.

Responsibilities include:
•Manage Branded Storage business for South America.
•Develop and implement regional strategies to drive business volume and market share.
•Monitor market and competitive pricing to manage pricing roadmap.
•Develop and implement promotional strategies to optimize business profitability.
•Work with sales team and SCM team on monthly business forecasts.
•Collaborate with US and Japan HQ product management team to create a competitive and exciting product roadmap.
•Drive change through improved tools and processes that result in cost savings, improved revenue or decision making capabilities.
•Perform other duties as may be assigned.

Requirements:
•BS/BA Marketing, Business Administration, or an equivalent combination of education and related business experience.
•Minimum 8-10 years of applicable experience, preferably in the storage or consumer electronics industry.
•Excellent Spanish language skills (Portuguese also preferred)
•Excellent analytical skills with the ability to proactively recognize issues and to develop solutions & processes/programs to exceed expectations.
•A model team player who demonstrates supportive relationships with peers, subordinates, customers, and corporate executives.
•Outstanding verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence and persuade with a positive attitude to gain the confidence of both internal and external customers.
•Proven track record of building team consensus and collaborating across functional lines.
•Expert proficiency with full MS Office Suite.
•Up to 30% international travel will be required.
