Product Marketing Analyst

The Digital Products Division of a global technology company is looking for an accomplished, high-energy professional to develop strategies and plans for enhancing sales of consumer PCs and devices sold through key US consumer retailer accounts. Work cross-functionally with Product Marketing, Channel Sales and Business Planning managers to provide weekly sales performance reporting, valuable insights and actionable recommendations to assess and grow in-channel performance and profitability.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Primary role is to measure and enhance sales performance, profitability and partnership potential of key retail accounts, specific to business for consumer PCs and devices.
• Execute/analyze/track a competitive in-channel product SKU portfolio, from roadmap to sales strategy to lifecycle management, assisting with forecasting.
• Manage the account performance reporting pipeline to internal stakeholders and produce weekly dashboards tracking sales performance, marketing programs, competitive strength and revenue projections against strategic KPIs.
• Provide actionable insights and direction on product pricing, from promotional to lifecycle.
• Manage the promotional marketing calendar for the account(s).
• Grow mindshare within the account by developing and building channel partner relations.
• Leverage tools such as Excel, NPD, Gap Intelligence and other industry analyst reports.

SKILLS & FUNCTIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
• 5+ years of relevant work experience. Consumer retail sales, successful channel management or PC Industry experience is a big plus.
• Experience working within a cross-functional organization and multiple levels of management, from managers to the C-suite.
• Technical aptitude: Ideal candidate must possess some knowledge of PC or consumer electronics devices.
• Must possess strong analytical and presentation skills, plus proven ability to work effectively as part of a cross-functional organization.
• Ability for 10-20% domestic travel.
• A Bachelor’s Degree in business or financial field (or related discipline) or equivalent experience required.

This is a temp-to-hire position.
