Product Manager, Service

Contract opportunity. The Product Manager will lead the identification, prioritization & commercialization of new after-sales products, accessories and services for client's Global Support group. Interaction with external and internal stakeholders to validate and apply innovative user-driving problem solutions will be a key activity. This position will provide project management of ideas from concept through launch.

Job Responsibilities
Gather and analyze market data, voice of customer research and emerging trends to identify and prioritize business opportunities based on relevancy to strategic goals across all business verticals globally.
Collaborate with platform leaders and functional experts throughout all business verticals, as well as with Marketing, R&D, IT and Corporate Development, to identify, manage and pursue new business opportunities and new products and/or services.
Implement and drive New Product Development (NPD) process for Global Service vertical.
Drive linkage between Service and other platforms' NPD process to ensure the right after-sales services and parts distribution are in sync with launch plans.
Coordinate technical communication among internal and external technicians, engineers and third party providers. Create and manage Requests for Quotation and develop sourcing/manufacture strategies for key components and/or services.
Conduct financial analysis of project ideas to assess market viability.
Provide technical assistance on sales calls, assist in developing sales literature and associated documentation, and assist in trade shows.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as requested or required


Skills:
Comprehensive knowledge of client's products, customers and markets.
Understanding of EVA principles as applicable to product development.
Well-developed organizational skills to manage multiple projects and priorities.

Demonstrated decision-making skills.
