Product Manager III

We are seeking a marketing manager to development winning consumer products to penetrate the fast moving online financial services industry. The manager will be responsible for developing and launching best-in-class financial products by understanding consumers’ frustrations, addressing unmet needs and driving a product roadmap to completion.

Responsibilities:

• Gain a deep understanding of consumer experience, identify and fill product gaps and generate new ideas that grow market share, improve customer experience and drive step-change growth.
• Own the learning agenda and drive the research roadmap to drive ideas from concept to fruition.
• Perform functions from analyzing new market opportunities to generating business requirements to build new products.
• Collaborate closely with user-experience designers, legal and compliance to ensure that the product solution is designed and developed to meet business and customer needs.
• Integrate cross-organizationally to manage and support go-to-market plan for new product roll-outs.
Become the subject matter expert for GFS new products and act as a product evangelist to build awareness and understanding of the potential solutions across the organization.

Job Requirements:

• Passion and desire to think big and build a multi-billion dollar business .
• Demonstrated track record of managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle, including product strategy, business requirements, legal evaluation and product marketing.
• Proven results of developing innovative-solutions that delivered business results.
• Strong strategic thinker, with an ability to develop product and marketing strategies and effectively communicate recommendations to executive management
• Excellent communication (verbal and written) and analytical thinker.
• Skilled at leading cross functional groups and matrix organizations to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Experience in the payments, credit or financial services industry.
• Experience with some or all of the following:- consumer qualitative and quantitative research, competitor analysis, UED research and user segmentation/analysis .
• Thrives in an environment of continuous change and complexity- can drive quality insights and deliver high impact projects.
• “Can do” attitude, team player, fun, energetic personality, works well under pressure.
• Must be eager to learn, contribute and share knowledge – internally and externally.
Basic Qualifications:


• BS/BA degree
• 10+ years professional in related field and or Master’s degree and 8+ years
At least 5 of those years specifically developing managing consumer products
