Assignment Length: 6 Months (possibility to extend)

Location:  San Francisco, CA

 

Summary:

The Customer Data and Analytics organization is a critical component of the Customer and Strategy team.  This team is chartered with unlocking the power of customer data and analytics to drive customer obsession across the brand.

 

This role will be focused on leveraging customer data and analytics methods to drive customer and business outcomes in support of critical Product Management initiatives across both the stores and digital domains.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with key stakeholders specifically within Product Management to leverage customer, transactional, as well as other forms of data and analytics to drive customer and business outcomes
  • Perform analytics and leverage existing internal analytical tools to improve decision making by providing data driven insights into complex Product Management initiatives across all phases of their lifecycle – pre-build, MVP, pilot, scale
  • Translate complex quantitative analysis and concepts in a concise and compelling way to various audiences to gain organizational alignment around project results
  • Drive adoption of data-driven solutions by key stakeholders across Product Management
  • Proactively identify opportunities to inform the Product Management roadmap based on analytic insights

 

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in analytics
  • Must have strong technical skills with the ability to create scalable processes to efficiently reproduce complex financial analyses
  • Deep knowledge of retail and ecommerce customer domains required
  • Strong financial modeling and analysis skills and the ability to leverage multiple sources of data to draw actionable, data driven insights
  • Experience working closely with executive leadership
  • Strong business acumen, coupled with written, verbal and presentation skills
  • Able to deliver near-term wins while building towards a larger strategic vision
  • Proficient in data access methods for large customer and transaction databases
  • Proficient in leveraging analytical methods to drive customer and business outcomes
