We are seeking for a Product Manager to join the Media Group which includes some of the most notable brands online: Moviefone, TechCrunch, Engadget, Autoblog, DailyFinance and more. Our group focuses on curating the best content, products, and services mirrored to real human behavior – what people need to make their digital lives as convenient as possible. We create an integrated experience that allows AOL consumers to feel like valued AOL Members, gaining access to the most useful content from some of the best brands, communication tools, and valuable services. Whether through communication products like AOL Mail and AIM, our mobile services, or our subscription packages, AOL Services Media Group is pivotal in driving traffic and user engagement across the AOL network.

We're looking for a Product Manager to create, refine and implement AOL Travel’s product strategy. This Product Manager will be responsible for the overall user experience to deliver key features that drive engagement, fill our users’ professional needs and meet our business needs.

Candidates should have experience envisioning, defining, planning, outlining, and spearheading the execution of winning consumer internet products. This role requires strong business judgment, understanding of current web trends and technologies, mastery of product management best practices, and a keen focus on consumers. We are looking for someone with passion and obsession for building world-class web products and experiences, and who knows how to translate these qualities into winning Internet products and services.


Responsibilities:
- Own every aspect of the user experience and product cycle
- Develop product strategies that balance end-user and business needs based on audience trends
- Translate broad strategic objectives into specific tactical plans and execute the product plan with a focus on quality
- Collaborate with editorial, technical, business and marketing teams to develop products from conception to implementation
- Leverage market and competitive knowledge to identify opportunities and drive product improvements
- Manage and execute go-to-market strategies presentations at all levels of audience

Requirements:
- 5 - 7 years of digital product management or product design experience
- Hands on experience developing Internet products and technologies with strong technical abilities
- Previous experience in the travel industry is a plus
- Excellent strategic skills and ability to translate strategy into tactical plans
- Ability to balance user needs and advertiser requirements with business priorities and articulate rationale behind decisions
- Strong analytical, organizational and problem solving skills with ability to interpret and translate data into key learnings and product strategy
- Outstanding team player with positive attitude and the ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams
- Excellent interpersonal, oral, written and presentation skills at all audience levels
- A proven track record of developing and launching online products
- BA/BS in Computer Science or equivalent
