Our Client is looking for a well-rounded Product Manager who is passionate about delivering best in class category management. This job contributes to client success by owning the strategy and tactical execution of programs within the Licensed Store food business. 3-5 years of experience in product, marketing, consulting or other relevant environment required. MBA preferred.

Candidates should have experience working with cross functional teams, forecasting / reporting, project management, developing strategic assessments, and managing a business P&L. Must be highly proficient in Excel, have strong written and verbal communication abilities, and comfort working in a highly dynamic environment.

Why is this role open? What need will this worker fill?
This role is open due to supplemental workload the team is taking on. This person will play a critical role within the Licensed Stores food team by leading category management activities across a sub-set of the food portfolio and driving key food initiatives.

There may also be potential for extension and/or conversion.

What does a typical work day entail? What are the daily tasks/responsibilities/deliverables?
A typical work day entails a mix of meetings (e.g., cross-functional category, Licensed Store specific) and dedicated work time focused on day-to-day category business support and project-based work.

Specific Responsibilities Include:
• 70% of the work will entail:
o Conducting recurring category reporting & forecasting
o Managing the product lifecycle process (e.g., new, existing, limited time, ramp downs)
o Owning the food promotional process
o Serving as the main point of contact with account sales teams
o A healthy mix of meetings
o Working with a small core team of 4 that ultimately rolls up to and works with a team of 20
• 30% of the work will be focused on driving special projects:
o Developing strategy and execution for Licensed Store specific fresh lunch program
o Owning the development and execution of Licensee self-production of client evenings menu
o Driving improvements to the item transition and ramp down process to drive incremental revenue

What are the must/nice to have skills you are looking for in this CW?
Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
• Strong financial / analytical acumen and EXCEL proficiency (vlookups & pivot tables should be among the basic skills this candidate has)
• Working knowledge of financial planning and forecasting
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing
• Must be comfortable speaking in front of groups, not necessarily formal presentations
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Functions effectively with ambiguity, needs to be able to think on their feet
• Ability to balance multiple priorities, meet deadlines and reprioritize if necessary
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team
• Strong organizational and problem solving abilities
