Responsibilities The Product Manager for Oscars will be responsible for product planning and execution throughout the lifecycle of the Oscars project (Nov 16 – Mar ’17). This includes gathering and prioritizing product and partner (AMPAS - Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences) requirements, defining the product vision and working closely with content, engineering, sales, marketing and support to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met.
Basic Qualifications 2-4 years of Product Management experience
- Experience managing large-scale consumer website products (sites with 5 million+ users)
- Demonstrated success defining and launching web-based products
- Understanding of responsive design, mobile web sites, and SEO
- Experience working closely with 3rd party vendors and contractors: Especially off-shored teams in different time zones
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage projects within a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
- Experience working in an Agile project development environment .
- Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
- Experience working on advertising campaigns with large sponsors
Preferred Qualifications - Knowledge of the Entertainment industry.
- Past experience supporting large-scale entertainment-oriented award shows and/or live events (Ie, Oscars, Emmys, Golden Globes)
