Our Client is looking for an experienced Product Manager who can take our airport mobile solutions to the next level. This person will join the Mobile Operations product team and be responsible for internal thought leadership, sprint team delivery, crafting product strategy, and prioritizing a mature backlog to meet our 2017 operational objectives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manages the entire product line life cycle from quarterly planning to tactical activities
• Drives new features and solutions across multiple agile development teams
• Helps prioritize work by analyzing costs, project schedule, customer benefit, and IT estimates
• Executes product strategies and creates/maintains product roadmaps based on user needs and leads market innovation to improve Alaska’s competitive position
• Uses competitive analysis, user research, and data to define a vision and strategy
• Builds and prioritizes a product backlog that is based on data, business impact, and ROI
• Works with stakeholders to establish metrics and KPIs that drive a well formed product backlog
• Gather end user feedback and usage metrics needed to facilitate the prioritization process.
• Works closely with leadership to define and communicate ongoing product plans to continually improve the experience based on data, user feedback, and product performance
• Follows a ‘lean startup’ mentality with product functionality, striving to deliver incremental value versus ‘big-bang’ releases
• Engage with and observe end-users on a regular basis to discover key insights.
• Provide analysis and recommendations for potential new features, optimizations, and other methods to improve the overall end-user experience.
• Develops and implements go-to-market plans, working with various departments
• Participate in story mapping sessions, write detailed stories and acceptance criteria for agile teams
• Manages stakeholder relationships to provide transparency on product roadmap and how work is being prioritized
• Actively seeks out and develops cross divisional relationships to ensure the user experience is supported across various digital channels
• Defines and analyzes comprehensive metrics to inform the success of products post implementation, provide course correction and improvement and ongoing strategic planning
• Measure the performance of your product based on operational goals and key metrics.
• Manage the day-to-day activities of your products while operating in an agile environment.
• Communicate product status, roadblocks, and release plans to key constituents across the organization and senior management.
• Passion for improving the internal and external customer experience required
• Performs other duties as assigned
