Product Manager - App/Mobile

Our client located in East LA (Miracle Mile) is looking for a temp to perm Product Manager. The Product Manager will work with Leadership to identify and develop apps and software programs, as well as have responsibility for the entire product from concept to completion, including responsibility for technical stability, overall performance and uptime. The Product Manager will create smart and efficient apps and software, which coordinate and maximize the returns of our product campaigns.

Key Responsibilities:
• Become an expert on the customer: Partner with researchers and the broader team to build empathy for the customer’s problem.
• Facilitate product planning: Assist in defining, creating, and maintaining the product road map.
• Facilitate requirements gathering: Collaborate with the design/development teams to document features, experiences, and use cases.
• Maintain clear requirements: Document clear and actionable pieces of functionality in the form of user stories to be consumed by the development team (including acceptance criteria and “definition of done”)
• Facilitate requirements-related meetings: Lead requirements review sessions with the development team to review requirements, break down scope, and estimate.
• Address requirements-related questions: Answer questions from the development team in real time (daily) to ensure the team is productive.
• Ensure requirements are met: Sign off on user story once the definition of done and acceptance criteria have been met and issue change requests when applicable.
• Facilitate coordination with other teams: Assist with cross-team coordination, identify and address dependencies with other teams.
• Maintain traceability and status: Ensure feature delivery is consistent in its ideals from design to implementation and report status of work through the use of tracking tools (e.g. Rally, Jira).
• Drive delivery in an Agile environment: Assist the team in executing delivery using Agile methodologies and the Scrum framework, including supporting backlog prioritization and grooming, sprint retrospectives, daily scrums, and adjust processes as requested by the team.
• Manage Focus Groups and actively integrate their output with other feedback provided by customers through email and social media.
• Maintain Budget for multiple projects
• Ensure the full and fair execution of our business arrangements.

• You are the center of our App universe. Bring our company, brands and products to life to interact with consumers in a memorable way that drives long-term affinity and engagement.
• Realize that our company has transparent brand DNA and that there is an edu-tainment aspect that is fertile in opportunity. Be the person that leads the charge to execute this story and develop a “consumer fan base tied to product” that is extraordinary and furthers our business goals.
• Analyze, develop and present key consumer insights and industry data to inform marketing strategy. Day to day responsibilities include:
• Be creative. You have a deep understanding of the power of great communication and when and where to use big ideas. Tell stories in a digital environment and always be in 'idea' mode.
• Own the strategy and execution of our Software Products line-up.
• Collaborate closely with contract engineers to ensure software properties adhere to SEO best practices that align with brand objectives.
• Compile, analyze, and report on performance metrics.
• Monitor trends on best practices and techniques; identify and evaluate new opportunities and technologies.
• Translate analytics to creative solutions.
• Concept and design creative to support our, “it takes a digital village” mentality.

Education and Experience Required:
• BA / BS Degree in Computer Science or related technical field, Master’s Degree preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in a product management role and leading teams.
• Successful track record of launching products; from designing to building.
• Knowledge of monetization systems.
• Entrepreneurial Drive
• Proven skill in analyzing workflows, requirements, and creating use cases.
• Ability to create wireframes / mock-ups.
