Exciting opportunity with a Fortune 500 Company in Dallas!!

The internet marketing team is looking for an individual to ensure flawless execution of the release-to-market (RTM) launch process. The Launch Specialist is responsible for partnering with business marketing, digital marketers, technical information services (TIS) and the web technology team providing direction and support for all online efforts for the product line and relevant application areas
related to launches.

Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Execute and manage the release-to-market (RTM) product launch process to ensure market readiness including creating, updating and optimizing product folders, tool folders, and software delivery

• Ensuring all web-related content is ready for product release-to-market

• Work closely with product marketing, digital marketing, and operations in the launch process

• Manage product tree updates, parametric search, cross-reference, RTM memo submissions and other RTM deliverables as defined in Galileo.

• Understanding the translation process and ensuring that the regions are informed on all MCU activity

Qualifications

This position requires a solid understanding of marketing technical products to an engineering audience and the ability to grasp highly technical concepts. This position has no direct reports, but manages processes across multiple teams and disciplines, making strong project management and communication skills essential. Other important qualifications include:

• Ability to execute quickly and meet deadlines with strong attention to detail

• Ability to gain deep understanding and proficiency in the company’s web structure and systems that pertain to RTM activities (SAP, Costbook, eMSG, TeamSite, LiveSite, ESP, LitDb

• Ability to handle repetitive tasks, technical aptitude, persistence, responsive, excellent verbal and written communication skills, communicates status to all constituents on a timely basis.

• Strong collaboration skills and ability to effectively influence across org boundaries.

• Ability to work with teams (in-person and virtually) to produce results within tight timeframes across multiple projects at any one time (multitasking).

• Sense of urgency and determination to complete all tasks.

• Exceptional service-orientation and team mentality.

• Proficiency with internet and associated applications.

Knowledge and skills obtained:

• Understanding and helping implement a whole product launch from the tools and software ecosystem, supporting collateral, support forums, wikis, and blogs, videos and training, and products

• Initial introduction to IMS, SMIT and other backend processes (STARS, PERKS, Projects)

• Collaboration with the Product Marketing, Product Applications and Digital Marketing teams to execute product, tool, software and Design launches
