We are looking for an experienced Visual/Interaction Designer to help shape our future scenarios and experiences across the wide range of services. The ideal candidate for this position has a passion for delivering innovative design to software products and gravitates to difficult design challenges. You will be at the forefront of design activities by defining how people interact, create and consume content for Office productivity in this new world. You will help create high-quality, compelling experiences that our customers will love. In this role you will engage in cross-team collaboration with the best of user research, visual and interaction design, program management, test, and development from the early stages of feature planning through implementation and release. For the visual part of this position, the responsibilities include:
Creating visual prototypes/comps that adhere to our brand and visual principles
Evaluating the prototypes with stakeholders to see how they map to our various app and device needs
Examining all visual language elements including Composition, Color, Typography and the Grid
Taking ideas from the concept to the production stage, including redlines, prototypes, guidelines, and other communication methods to help bring these designs to life.
For the interaction part of this position, the responsibilities include:
Delivering inspiring conceptual work
Identifying key goals and scenarios
Producing information architecture and task-flow diagrams
Building storyboards, wireframes, and interactive prototypes

1.) Possess deep knowledge and application of user-centered philosophies and interaction design best practices while working effectively with other User Experience disciplines (Design Integration, User Research and User Assistance) and Technical disciplines (PM, Dev, Test)
2.) Exceptional problem solving, creative, presentation, and communication skills
3.) Experience executing interaction prototypes using a range of prototyping and development methods (paper, PowerPoint, Photoshop, HTML, Flash, XAML, WPF, etc.)
