Product Designer

• The ideal candidate will become a part of a highly visible, very creative and complex team.
• Expectations will be to work alongside lead designers, and taking direction from multiple producers and PMs for various projects relating to the interaction design of entertainment products.
• Will working with other designers, engineers and developers on a daily basis to create multiple models, concepts, wireframes, and other design artifacts.
• A mature candidate will not be caught up in politics or changes made to their ideas. The team is hard working and heads down although collaborative as well, but there will be little direction and mentoring.

Requirements:
• Mature and experienced Interaction Designer who has a passion for new and exciting technology.
• Ability to move between multiple design projects with ease
• Ability to work in a very fast and loose organization where plans change daily
• Excitement to work solo and/or with other designers, running with ideas then bring them back to the table for additional feedback.
• Strong portfolio with high profile and high polished work.
• Fluency in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Illustrator and Photoshop
• Familiarity with rapid prototyping (Flash, WPF) or motion design is a bonus.

5 plus years work related experience required. Minimum of 2 years experience in a lead role. Strong knowledge of user interface and functionality design required. Strong creative skills and ability to generate design ideas required. Advanced experience in creating and implementing usability studies, personas, user flows, wireframes, style guides, navigational structures, and affinity diagrams is required. Advanced knowledge of web technologies (i.e. HTML and CSS). Fluency with standard design software tools (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc) required. Advanced interaction design and web technology skills (i.e. Flash) may be required. Strong knowledge or experience with database served websites. Experience working with rich client or web applications preferred. Must have the ability to understand and integrate customer needs and motivations into specific areas of product design to contribute to user features and functionality. Must be familiar with industry standards and trends. Strong communication skills as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team required. Must have ability to own and drive projects. Bachelor's degree in related field preferred.
