Product Copywriter

The right candidate will join our in-house team on a 5-month contract to help maintain the voice across marketing and brand materials in both print and digital mediums.

The copywriter will develop and manage content for retail marketing collateral, product catalogs, email campaigns, web, user manuals and other marketing materials.
They will have in-depth knowledge of B2C advertising techniques and marketing principles, plus a solid understanding of consumers’ interaction with various media and ability to adjusting copy based on the medium.

Responsibilities
· Write engaging headlines, product descriptions and collateral for all consumer communications.

· Communicate complex technical data in a clear and compelling manner to our target audiences.

· Collaborate with creative team, brand marketing and product marketing teams to create marketing copy decks, sell sheets, catalogs and advertising, among other materials

· Develop compelling copy that differentiates the brand in the marketplace while staying true to the brand voice.

· Ensure copy is right for our customers and helps drive key marketing initiatives.

· In-depth understanding of industry marketing strategy and business principle.

· Develop product documentation, including user manuals, training materials and packaging.

· Bachelor degree required, preferably with English/Journalism focus

· 3-5 years of copywriting experience in both print and web, with emphasis in branding

· English proficiency and excellent grammatical, writing and editorial skills

· In-depth knowledge of B2C advertising techniques and marketing principles

· Ability to understand technical content and quickly learn new material

· Exceptional storytelling capabilities with careful attention to flow and cadence

· Experience writing copy for product launches

· Experience developing website content, including landing pages, product pages, etc.

· Comprehensive understanding of marketing, technology and media

· Ability to present complex technical information to a consumer audience

· Electronics industry experience a plus

· Passion for outdoors/action sports a huge plus
