We are seeking a motivated, energetic and experiences Business Analyst (BA) to work on a highly collaborative, cross-functional team in the Digital Services Group (DSG) to deliver new and updated features for our client’s web and mobile channels. The consumer-facing health portal serves over 4 million active users. The site, along with various mobile capabilities, enable consumers to digitally manage their family’s health with capabilities such as viewing lab results, making appointments, emailing your doctor, refilling prescriptions, managing claims and coverage and much more.

The Business Analyst is responsible for gathering, documenting and analyzing business requirements as we develop digital experiences that bring value to our consumers through Agile methodology. Successful candidates for the BA role are self-motivated, excel at effective communication, focus on robust, value-driven problem solving, build strong relationships with a broad range of business and IT partners, and have an eye for detail without losing sight of the overall consumer-driven needs.

Key Responsibilities:
• Serve as a key Subject Matter Expert (SME) for key digital products and capabilities
• Interview, investigate, and elicit requirements from a variety of stakeholders, including technical, operations, and business process owners and Subject Matter Experts
• Manage (e.g. create/write, edit, update, maintain version control) appropriate business documentation to support development needs, including Agile user stories, workflows, error matrices, gap analyses, screenshots, product training materials, and known product issues
• Collaborate with Agile Product Owners in user story development, including research and information gathering from multiple stakeholders including business partners, creative services, and IT teams to produce consumable requirements
• Work with other team members to drive to robust solutions that meet the evolving needs of the consumer and the business and that factor in consumer value, systems dependencies and limitations, current state functionality and operational opportunities and constraints
• Provide ongoing consultation to development teams to clarify business requirements
• Assist project team with various elements throughout the development lifecycle, including test data requests, creating User Acceptance Test (UAT) scripts, conducting UAT, logging defects, conducting stakeholder demos, and creating and tracking defects
• Participate in high-level capability definition exercises during the project Discovery phase to aid with level of effort estimation
• Partner with IT and Operations stakeholders to determine requirement implementation feasibility 1

• BA or BS or 3 – 5+ years in related business analysis experience, or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background
• Experience in writing business requirements for web, mobile and/or multi-tier systems
• Experience in working with Agile/Scrum work environment and familiarity with writing user stories, and following the development process through user story acceptance
• Extensive experience in documenting current and “to-be” state behaviors and logical workflows
• Proficiency with Visio, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Experience with defect tracking management systems (e.g. Quality Center, Bugzilla, etc.)
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and track record of producing quality work
• Ability to be a solid member of a cross-functional team
• A great work ethic and a reasonable sense of humor
• Detail oriented and obsessively organized
• Strong analytical skills
• Results driven, with the ability to get through roadblocks
• Ability to manage assignments to meet project deadlines
