Producer/Traffic Manager

Contract role with Fortune 500 Tech company in San Diego!

The Producer/Traffic Manager should be a highly motivated individual who understands the importance of this role within a large in-house creative group. You should have the ability to multi-task and prioritize numerous internal production projects, superb communication and follow through skills, plus proven experience in client relations. In this role, you will work in a busy, high-energy environment and join a talented team of creative professionals. You will scope and assign projects, create and manage schedules, and streamline processes.

Role & responsibilities:

Scope and assign projects (50%):
? Define and create process to receive design requests and prioritize them

? Interface with internal business partners throughout various departments

? Field incoming project requests and define projects for the Experience Design team (specifically visual design and prototyping teams): effectively scope projects and define deliverables and tasks, clarify and document project objectives, and flag projects with potential low ROI

? Understand the roles required to execute deliverables and assign projects based on availability and scope

? Conduct kick-off meetings and define and communicate project schedules before handing off production tasks to the team

Project Management (50%)
? Establish project timelines and tasks and manage large offline projects through all phases of implementation

? Proactively set expectations, communicate project status, and assist internal clients

? Report on project status to team members

Preferred qualifications:
? Bachelor degree or equivalent experience

? 5+ years of production/traffic management, account management, and/or project management experience

? Thorough understanding of the creative development processes

? Ability to understand complex programs, scope and prioritize projects, define schedules, and work independently
