The Snr. Supervising Producer has a 6th sense for what will resonate with our linear partners and is constantly looking for the opportunity to create content for the digital audience that will seamlessly and inexpensively move onto linear platforms.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Generate new formats and new content. Includes idea generation, developing production schedules, working with network executives to pitch ideas for green light, working with internal and external production resources, shooting, editing, creating graphics, collaborating with legal, rewriting scripts, supervising off-line, on-line, narration record and mix sessions.
2. Develop key relationships with network stakeholders and external production companies to ensure a constant flow of development and green lights
3. Develop relationships with web-based talent (on and off camera) for possible collaborations and ongoing creative development
4. Strong rolodex of writers, producers and editors that will help realize projects when multiple deadline are looming
5. Coordinate special projects such as internal/external sizzle reels...
6. Facilitate program fixes (changes in narration, graphics, picture, and audio, as needed.)
7. For projects, manage project production schedule for contract compliance and overall project workflow. Track deliverables and communicate fulfillment of production milestones, production issues or changes, to project team members.
8. Manage and distribute production delivery schedules, episode descriptions, and other relevant program updates using appropriate databases.
9. As required for assigned project, coordinate and communicate with other DCI departments.

Requirements: 6-8 years video/television production experience including short-form documentary or equivalent. Demonstrated skills and expertise in project and client management Demonstrated skills and expertise in development, production and post- production techniques Expert in Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, Omniture and related post production tools Demonstrated skills and expertise in location video production. Excellent Script and creative writing skills Strong communication, administrative and organizational skills. Ability to work on multiple projects in a deadline environment. Knowledge of normal office software.
