Do you have a deep understanding of social media and online communities, along with an interest in the area of lifestyle? We are looking for an engaging content curator with editorial and PR experience to drive the creation of compelling editorial content for lifestyle and fitness consumers. You will work closely with Producers, Writers, and External Partners to create and maintain a community plan including an editorial content calendar, track content development, post/deploy content on various platforms, and prepare reports on results. You’ll also think of new and unique ways to empower our lifestyle consumers, engage our lifestyle community, and encourage our fitness enthusiasts.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
The day-to-day tasks of the content curator vary, but basic responsibilities include:
Help define our overall community program.
Help define the editorial plan; identify content that will engage our audience on a variety of platforms. (Websites, Social Media, Game Console, Mobile, Tablet)
Work with the external and internal content partners, to establish and maintain a cadence of compelling editorial content.
Grow community engagement and impressions with news and information, social media experiences, contests, awards, member call-outs, co-promotional activities and other community editorial content programs.
Drive analytics around community engagement and content consumption; measure and report to the team how different types of content are resonating with the audience; offer guidance and recommendations on how to improve results.

QUALIFICATIONS:

A successful candidate will:
Be a self-starter and independent contributor with follow-through on all initiatives.
Be able to lead community and editorial initiatives, measure results, and modify programs based on feedback.
Organize internal and external resources and drive a clearly communicated schedule to hit deliverable deadlines.
Create and maintain working relationships both internal and external partners.
Possess first-hand practical knowledge of editorial content, social media, and web communities – what makes them tick, what resonates and what doesn’t and how the overall medium is trending, etc.

DESIRED SKILLS AND PLUSES:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
Knowledge and understanding of lifestyle, specifically lifestyle technology.
Experience with gaming consoles.
5 years of content editor or community management experience.
Excellent verbal and written skills; ability to communicate with a wide variety of disciplines, articulate key points, and present findings a must.
A passion and understanding for lifestyle and fitness
Excellent writing and editing skills.
Understanding of web technologies and experience with various content management systems.
Experience supporting products or services on social media platforms such as Facebook and Twitter.
