Reporting to Programme Director

A well-known and highly regarded worldwide experiential agency in central London are looking for a Producer to join their team on a temp-to-perm basis. Working exclusively on one of their biggest clients, an automotive company with whom the agency have been working for over 40 years, you will be delivering products across multiple channels, driving the integration of media and messaging, and bringing consistency to communications across local, regional and global markets. You may be owning individual projects or managing deliverables that contribute to a bigger programme of work. Either way you will be involved in projects from inception to deployment, responsible for commercial success and client satisfaction.

The producer will have a particular focus on content creation, from corporate brand films through to tactical communications and social apps that will be used across multiple channels. They will need to thrive in a fast-moving creative environment, and maintain outstanding attention to detail and a level head under tight deadlines. The producer will have excellent communication skills and a good grasp of project management and film production.


Detailed responsibilities:

● To be the primary point of contact for your projects, working on multiple projects in different stages of delivery at any given time
● To deliver all projects on-time, on-budget & at quality
● To liaise closely with account team & clients, as part of a fully-integrated team
● To identify, scope & manage projects from inception to deployment, working with a team of disciplinary experts
● To produce detailed project schedules and budgets that accurately reflect cost and effort involved to ensure a positive return
● To manage all aspects of a project hands-on; scoping, strategy, concept development, creative development (incl. copy/content, design, music/sound, photography/video, animation/motion graphics), technical development, testing and deployment (including attendance on site if required)
● To set up film shoots, edits and post-production as needed, identifying crew and ensuring appropriate insurances, permissions and contracts are in place
● To produce accurate, clear, concise documentation throughout the project
● To identify and manage risk, flagging issues and mitigations to senior staff
● To find creative solutions to production challenges, identifying ways to deliver concepts within budget and deadlines
● To provide weekly status & fortnightly financial updates to the PD
● To manage the budget, controlling cost and tracking revenue
● To maintain an up-to-date file for each project
● To liaise closely with the Resource Manager to flag resource needs in advance and manage change on a daily basis
● To ensure any third party or freelance resources are engaged only through approved channels, with contracts & funding in place before work begins
● To ensure all materials are appropriately cleared for the usage required
● To motivate all members of project teams to be their best, enabling excellence through a supportive environment

Experience and skills required:

● Experience in a digital agency and a film or post production environment
● Hands-on experience delivering across at least 3 of the following:
○ CGI or post production
○ Motion graphics and animation
○ Film production (e.g. TVCs, corporate films, brand films, reportage)
○ Online content (web film, virals, user-generated content, etc)
○ Digital content (e.g. microsites, websites, social & mobile apps)
● Experience managing projects from start to finish, including scoping, specification & budgeting as well as briefing, quality checks & delivery
● Familiar with the considerations for deployment across multiple platforms, including broadcast, live event & online/mobile. Ideally familiar with considerations for using live feeds and data to create content on the fly
● Excellent communication skills, able to convey concepts & issues to a technical expert as well as to non-technical business stakeholders
● Good leadership skills, able to motivate a multi-disciplinary team
● Good understanding of digital and film production processes
● Interest in current & emerging digital technologies, platforms & channels
● Knowledge of content creation, curation & stewardship
● Knowledge of copyright & licensing issues
● Awareness of usability & accessibility standards
● Must be able & willing to travel globally for up to 2 weeks at a time
