Producer - Project Manager

My client, the world's leading gaming and entertainment company is looking for an experienced Producer to join their Strategic Content team on a temporary basis (6 months initially). The purpose of this role is to manage the development the approval process of games from initial concept design or acquisition through to final commercial mastering and digital release, in accordance with agreed business plans and in association with the Strategic Content Team.

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS:
* Good relationships with the development and/or publishing community.
* Keen awareness of past and current video games trends creatively and technically.
* Excellent written and spoken English, clear and cogent communicator, clear presenter.
* A second language is desirable.
* Ability to grasp ambiguity and plan, propose, plot and pursue a decisive course.
* Analytical, able to reduce complex, interconnected data to a brief series of key points.
* A self starter, capable of making decisions without complete information, remaining goal-directed and driven.
* Able to build and nurture internal and external relationships with partners and stakeholders, remaining calm in the face of pressure.
* Successful delivery of video game projects either internally through development or externally through a publisher or first party.
* Familiarity with modern toolchains and the ability to use them independently.
* Experience of confidently delivering appropriate marketing materials relating to game projects at short notice.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Assist in defining the development path and schedule for the game.
* Define deliverable milestones in association with Strategic Content team and development studio.
* Manage the schedule, delivery dates, milestones, budgetary and resource requirements with the and maintain effective records thereof
* Ensure a common focus and understanding of the project objectives exist within the development team and is communicated with the project stakeholders.
* Maintain an effective relationship with developers by responding to and following up on developer enquiries by email, telephone, and personal visits, providing support, counsel and guidance.
* Carry out product comparison and Developer research where appropriate and required
* Carry out various technical and administration tasks required by the Strategic Content Team such as DVD/BluRay production, video production, voiceover production, audio production, marketing material collation and production etc.
* Assist in the creation of presentations that effectively demonstrate games to project stakeholders.
* Attend key events and conferences to develop relevant local knowledge and build contacts where required.
* Willingness to travel anywhere in the world when required.
