Process Documentation Consultant

Our Oil & Gas client in the San Ramon area is looking for a Process Documentation Consultant to help write and format processes for one of their refineries that was just sold off. They agreed to provide the purchaser with certain services and support for 6-12 months. The services and support range from ad hoc consulting engagements (e.g., engineering help) to ongoing processing of business transactions; financial data reporting; and the hosting and technical support of many of their systems (e.g., SAP, Ariba, Maximo).

They are looking for a skilled contractor to develop consistent, comprehensive and user-friendly process documentation (e.g., flowcharts with high-level summaries of procedures) of the many different activities and services that they will provide under the support contract. The contractor will engage face-to-face with a cross section of the company's experts who designed and launched the various services and processes being supported under the agreement. This documentation will be used to support administration of the TSA (e.g., who to contact, how-to), reveal any process gaps and highlight areas for simplification/streamlining.

--This is a short term project (3-4 weeks) and the interviews will take place the week following the Thanksgiving holiday
--Knowledge of SAP, Ariba, Maximo on high level required. Reporting functionality knowledge etc preferred.
--Knowledge of Downstream business highly preferred
--Main duty will be to document work streams--in Visio, etc. If you can also review and analyze the processes that would be a plus.
