Print and Web Production Specialist

Our busy client is looking needing some help! We are looking for a Print and Web Production Artist to work approximately 10 hours a week on an ongoing basis with a Seattle based non profit. This position will require you to be onsite in downtown Seattle. This position is approximately 75% production (as defined below) and 25% design work. Completion of tasks will be monitored and approved by the Graphic Designer.

Deliverables and tasks include but are not limited to:
•Creating layouts and design artwork for the non profit's instructional, promotional, and internal materials.
•fliers, brochures, calendars, class schedules, promotional posters, booklists, e-blasts, as well as images for the web and social media.
•Promotional and collateral materials for print and electronic communications.
•You will also assist in establishing and maintaining professional graphic and identity standards for the organization based on the “Print Graphic Design and Publications templates” available on the SharePoint site.

The job responsibilities are as follows:
• Cut and paste written content from a Word document into an existing InDesign template.
• Create new templates based on the Graphic Designer’s specification using InDesign software.
• Use Adobe Creative Suite software to manipulate digital art to fit various formats (social media, web card, etc.)
• Assist the Graphic Designer in the distribution of materials which includes brochures, calendars, rack cards, and posters to departments and branches.
• Use MOS signage system to create end-range signage for branch use.
• Additional clerical duties as assigned which may include organizing and cataloguing photographic images; assisting in the coordination of photo shoots; and assisting web designer in the creation of web feature art.

Required Qualifications:
• Graduation/Certification from a graphic design program or 2 years’ experience in the production of printed materials and web based files.
• An attention to detail, a good eye for design and the ability to work independently.
• Possess an expert level of Adobe Creative Suite [5+], working knowledge of website development, e-blasts and google analytics.
