Print Production Specialist

Develops, designs and executes production of forms to meet the business needs of business functions.

· Designs layouts of new forms and revises existing forms to ensure most up to date and accurate information
· Creates variable print versions of printed forms in PDF, HTML and or ‘Form Filler’
· Works with, and coordinates various with business units to analyze requirements and create intelligent forms for web based form submission and data collection
· Analyzes form usage and functionality required by business units to determine appropriate form design
· Meets with the Forms Design Administrator and the internal client to determine forms design requirements including content and layout
· Prepares print specifications and collects digital files for print production for the Supervisor Marketing Production to process; reviews form designs with Forms Design Administrator (or client or form owner as appropriate and regulatory compliance), obtains approvals and/or determines additional form modifications
· Uses JavaScript, FormCalc, for web-based forms, eForms, NFO and third party vendors to meet client specifications and maximize user experience
· Converts files to format needed by for Print On Demand, Laser forms and special projects

2. Ensures quality control and maintenance of forms development and inventory.

· Monitors consistency of form design elements, ensures functionality, client satisfaction, and promotes a professional appearance
· Updates existing forms library and production software to track all forms, special projects, and ensure most current forms are available in inventory
· Identifies and resolves minor hardware, software and application problems on both Mac and Windows computers
· Coordinates with ISD and/or vendors in identifying software malfunctions and obtaining repairs, updates or replacements
· Proofreads and completes final preparation of forms and other related material prior to print and electronic production. Reviews and approves blue-lines and color proofs
· Prepares usage and progress reports

3. Assists the Forms Design Administrator with designing, maintaining and improving the content and functionality of forms.

· Assists the Forms Design Administrator with maintaining the forms content management system(s) and local LAN storage system
· Evaluates and recommends new hardware and software for electronic forms creation, design, and management
· Acts as Forms Design Administrator in his/her absence
· Provides input to Forms Design Administrator on budget, supply orders and other materials as needed

4. Performs other related duties as assigned or appropriate.
