Print Production Manager

The Print Project Manager will oversee and assist the Production team in all areas of the creative services department, which encompasses the scheduling of print jobs and maintaining quality control of all materials prior to their shipment and/or delivery (including press checks). Candidate for this position should have at least 5 years experience as Print Production Manager either in an in-house, studio or agency setting.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES

- Manage day-to-day print projects from initiation to completion
- Track and report project progress on a consistent and accurat basis
- Support the team in a variety of administrative tasks as required
- Logging of orders, distribution lists, shipping lists & billing lists
- Determine lead-time to produce all elements in a given job and confirm order quantities
- Coordinate and communicate due dates and job status with customers
- Respond to customer e-mails and calls promptly and professionally
- Review artwork for accuracy, timely submission of revisions, solicit customer approval
- Review job quality prior to production and shipping
- Confirm PO and billing information prior to shipment
- Communicate job and customer concerns/requirements to management
- Confirm company standards and policies in all projects.
- Document and report project information, as needed, utilizing appropriate systems.
- Hold annual performance appraisal meetings with each team member.
- Reliable attendance is a must.
