Supervise and review all electronic and/or hard color proofs with customers and communicate revisions back to suppliers.

Print Production Knowledge
Knowledge of file set-up in printer acceptable formats and color management systems.
Solid understanding of various print technologies including digital, lithography, flexography, rotary letterpress, silk screen, gravure, web, die sublimation, heat transfer.
Knowledge of printing on traditional paper and optional substrates including text and cover weight stocks, SBS, corrugate, plastics, vinyl, foil, holographic, lenticular, vacuum forming.
Experience with pressure sensitive label construction types, material and applications including traditional PS labels, straight IRCs, plow fold IRCs, ECL (Expanded Content Label) booklet labels.
Expertise in print production finishing including foil stamping hot/cold, UV/aqueous coatings, film laminating/mounting, embossing/debossing, die cutting, folding/gluing.
Understanding of various bindery and finishing options including perfect bound, stitching, coil, wire and thermal binding, shrink wrapping, collation, insertions and kit packing.
Experience with bulk mail/ package fulfillment and distribution methods USPS, UPS etc.
Familiar with recycled content materials, recycled terminology and organizational certifications.

Proactively manage unplanned costs such as vendor overtime charges, excessive shipping costs and author alterations.

5+ years experience in graphic design, prepress, print production or related field. Must have strong project management skills with the ability to lead a project from concept to completion, including aligning internal and external resources as well as working within assigned budget.
