Print Production Manager

Our client is in need of a long-term, open-ended consultant for Print Production Management.


Responsibilities:
• Project manage marketing and company-wide deliverables; create production schedules and traffic
numerous projects concurrently in a fast paced, deadline driven environment through all phases of
production, workflow processes, and distribution
• Clearly communicate status updates, change management, or project delays to extended teams
• Manage resources, improve efficiency, provide specs and RFQs, negotiate pricing with outside vendors
based on project scope and budget
• Proactively holds internal and external business partners accountable to critical dates to ensure objectives,
on time deliveries are met
•Run weekly production reports, attend and/or conduct weekly production and design meetings when needed
• Act as liaison/ resource to global marcom teams for design, collateral, web or other marketing related needs
• Oversee, coordinate and maintain current literature inventory, ,display racks, distribute samples, and
distribution center fulfillment worldwide, run literature reports and distribute on bi-weekly basis
• Provide direction to creative team and resolve production or print technologies related issues.
• Travel to vendors to supervise press approvals to set color accuracy, make adjustments if applicable and
approve print quality
• Partner/coordinate with Distribution Center distribution of materials and prepare transportation request forms (TRFs)
• Oversee translation projects as needed with internal translation companies Project Manager and
communicate project schedules internal marcom and global marcom review teams
• Coordinate logistics, administrative planning, and attend photo shoots for marketing and product managers
• Additional activities or special projects as requested

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
• 7+ years thorough knowledge of print technologies, pre-press production and graphic design, preferably in a
marketing communications or agency setting
• Project management experience
• Experience with web-based project management workflow and tracking systems
• Excellent organizational, analytical and time management skills
• Effective management of multiple, concurrent projects against aggressive timelines without compromising
accuracy or quality
• Strong problem-solving skills and project contingency planning capabilities
• Ability to communicate across several levels of management
• Vendor procurement and solid negotiating skills
• Budget management and reconciliation experience a plus
