Print Production Manager

Job Role: The Print Production Manager manages the print production implementation of marketing communication collateral.
Works with Marketing teams to execute against developed strategies, creative briefs, product and program plans, expectations and goals to ensure that print deliverables achieve the desired results.

This is a long-term, on-site contract.

Performance Expectations of the Role:
--Provide preliminary concept/format consultation, assist Project Manager with identifying project specification and scope.
--Participation at creative kick-off meetings, review of concepts/layout for implementation feasibility.
--Determine item(s) specifications, print manufacturing methods, bindery/finishing requirements.
--Identify prospective print vendors with the core competencies to provide the services required for the project. Request and secure bids from them.
--Perform evaluation/analysis of vendor bids and make vendor recommendation.
--Issue Purchase Order and award work, monitor vendors service costs to approved budgets and PO.
--Generate production workback schedules and ensure vendor meets SLAs..
--Ensure strict adherence to corporate compliant and print procurement standards throughout production processes.
--Manage vendor(s) for delivery of all production stage services and products required, and to ensure the project meets all quality standards and timelines.
--Supports the proper application of Style Guides and Brand Standards.

Education: Bachelors Degree is required
