Our client is looking for a Print Production Manager for a 2-3 month long contract with the possibility of extension or hiring at the end of the contract

This is 100% on site in SF

 

In this role, you will be a key member of our Client Operations team that manages a large procurement engagement, reporting to the Senior Marketing Procurement Manager also in San Francisco. This team ultimately reports to the Chief Client Officer in our Norwalk, CT headquarters.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Marketing print buying for a major U.S. retail brand: Manage the entire procurement lifecycle from planning & bid preparation to budget/forecasting, negotiation, invoicing and reporting  Gather and develop detailed specifications to formulate accurate RFQs
Formulate eRFQ's based on project requirements; negotiating prices, schedules, turnaround times and other terms with vendors
Organize and distribute specifications and other critical project information to internal and external stakeholders (project owners, designers, print buyers, vendors etc.); ensure all parties are working from the same/correct information
Execute timely and accurate transactions against defined strategies through our eProcurement system, securing required approvals from the client
Continually track and provide status updates on project deliverables and progress
Accurate and timely submission of vendor invoices with sufficient variance explanation as necessary
Identify and problem-solve project risks/issues, escalating when necessary to resolve issues affecting our ability to deliver on client expectations
Monitor and evaluate supplier performance related to price, quality and service
Leverage LogicSource's offsite team of strategic sourcing experts to drive additional savings opportunities, contain costs and effectively manage vendor partners to maintain the highest standards for quality and delivery
Develop internal client relationships; facilitate communication between client business units, internal stakeholders and suppliers
Provide first-rate customer service to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction
Learn client's culture and adapt to it while maintaining cultural standards of LogicSource
Participate in developing and continually refining processes and systems
Ensure procurement activities comply with all client policies and procedures including legal and regulatory
Deliver detailed procurement reporting and cost savings tracking Decision Making & Autonomy: Operational Fiscal Human Capital Planning one's own work with minimal guidance Managing project or team budgets No direct supervisory responsibility. Receives direction and supervision
