Seeking Print Operations Specialist/Print Project Manager to join a major pharmaceutical client for a long term contract role.

Position: Print Specialist
The Print Specialist will drive the execution of Brand Direct to Customer (DTC) campaigns and programs as well as distribution materials for POA’s and Congresses by collaborating with Multi-Channel matrix teams and agencies. In this role, the Print Specialist will also advise on print strategies in support of overall brand strategy in order to meet annual brand objectives. The Print Specialist will partner with the broader multi-channel operations and analytics matrix teams to execute key brand projects by leveraging Multi-Channel standards and management of projects in conjunction with Marketing Operations. Projects will be a mix of personal as well as non-personal promotional activity.

Key Responsibilities
• Provide strategic direction and leadership in the development of DTC print projects to drive business growth through anticipating customer needs, and delivering innovative and effective solutions.
• Develop and maintain an understanding of Business Units and brand-specific strategies for promotional and non-promotional campaigns.
• Possess and maintain an understanding of the changes in the evolving regulatory and compliance environment.
• Provide actionable recommendations and insight to brand programs specific to the management of the production of individual tactics.
• Draft creative briefs and other required documents necessary to support the development of print projects.
• Provide print expertise to tactical development.
• Collaborate with the Brand’s agency of record to ensure that creative is aligned with brand goals and direct mail standards.
• Work with internal teams, such as marketing operations, and external agency partners to define project scope, timelines, and deliverables.
• Provide input to project tasks and resource requirements and communicate needs to management.
• Create service orders needed for project work performed by the Production Hub and other external fulfillment and data entry vendors.
• Manage project budgets with regard to the Production Hub and other external fulfillment and data entry vendors within internal tracking systems in a timely manner.
• Ensure creative assets are delivered to Production Hub in the correct format and in a timely manner.
• Review and approve mechanicals built by the Production Hub from the creative assets.
• Provide final review and approval of proofs prior to AFP.
• Review audit records prior to providing approval to mail.
• Strong attention to detail and organization of numerous interactions with both internal and external partners.

Education & Experience Requirements:
• A Bachelor’s degree is preferred
• 2+ years or equivalent experience in Marketing and Print Management
• 3+ years experience of successfully managing CRM initiatives in the pharmaceutical arena
• In-depth knowledge of pharmaceutical marketing and sales business processes
• Experience managing external vendors, budgets and invoicing
• Ability to lead cross-functional CRM/marketing initiatives, project/process management experience preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required
