Presentations Operator - Ongoing Contract

We are looking for experienced Presentations Operators, who have advanced skills in PowerPoint, Word and Excel. They should have a very good speed of work, excellent attention to detail and be able to proof their own work.

Reports to Design Manager

Job purpose: As a Presentations Operator, you will be using your advanced MS Office skills to design, produce & format branded documents for internal and external clients.

Acountabilities & Responsibilities:
• Support the production of presentations using the client’s brand and templates
• Communicating with senior-level clients in order to understand concepts and interpret them visually
• Ensure work adheres to all best practices and style guidelines and work toward 100% accuracy against style and brief
• Follow instructions and ensure job is discussed with Team Leader to capture any additional instructions
• Organise work effectively to ensure deadlines are met
• Work to continually improve your knowledge of the core software applications and provide any testing, piloting and support in line with business requirements
• Proactive raising of creative ideas or emerging trends in line with the business objectives
• Minor PDF editing

Competencies:
• The ability to work thoroughly and independently
• Self-motivated with the ability to work on own initiative with a mature, calm outlook and style of communication
• Ability to work as part of a team within a fast moving environment
• High level of attention to detail
• Understand importance of brand and can work within established standards
• Experience in a deadline-driven environment is essential and you must have the ability to multi-task across multiple projects

Skills:
• A deep understanding of PowerPoint, Word and Excel 2010
• A proven track record in presentation production and design
• Excellent design sense and awareness of current design trends
• Basic / intermediate knowledge of InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop skills an advantage
• Advanced level MS Office (primarily PowerPoint)
• After Effects and/or Video editing skill would be an advantage
• Investment banking / financial industry or similar experience an advantage
