Presentation Specialist/Events Designer

Are you a skilled presentation designer who also has traditional graphic design experience? If you have an interest in the bigger marketing picture and want an important position within the marketing department, then we are looking for you! This is an exciting and permanent opportunity with a stable, Charlotte corporation. This position is crucial to the success of the sales department and will ensure that the company has a consistent, visual presence for large events/conventions (luncheons, conferences, webinars, etc). The most important deliverables include: Powerpoint Presentations, Invitations and agendas. The ideal candidate must have the ability to work creatively within a corporate brand and a fast-paced environment, with the added capability of  self "project-managing"! 


Key Responsibilities: 


Production: 
Maintains brand standards and consistency of message and design across presentation materials. 
Designs and animates PowerPoint slides for on-screen event presentations. 
Takes direction from Design and Messaging teams in order to improve slides. 
Formats numerical data, charts, text, photographs, and other visual graphic elements 
Pulls master slides from an internal, web-based content management system. 
Implements an effective content management system for event presentation materials 
Develops event collateral templates. 
Reviews work for accuracy of typing, layout, consistency and format. 
Makes required Compliance and Legal edits to presentation materials. 

Project Management: 
Acts as primary point-of-contact for specified internal client base in the production of event-related marketing collateral, shepherding projects through the creative process, from kickoff to delivery. 
Leads day-to-day management and prioritization of event marketing materials, including PowerPoint presentations and printed collateral. 
Defines event type, scope, and marketing deliverables, bringing in appropriate resources as needed. 
Sets milestones and deliverable schedules and regularly tracks work against defined schedules.
Systematically and consistently delivers on time, error-free, high-quality content that meets the needs of the presenters and Sales teams. 


Workflow: 
Works directly with speakers to create or improve their presentations. 
Collaborates with Creative teams (Design, Messaging, Editorial) to develop new content 
Works with regional offices to ensure consistent event design. 
Maintains version control through the tracking of drafts as they progress to a final version.
