Our agency client is looking for a stellar Presentation Designer for a contract to hire opportunity. Our client is a leading public relations, digital marketing and communications firm.

Job Description
You are a presentation designer who has a passion for storytelling. The ideal candidate will be responsible for upholding global brand standards while creating effective, dynamic and well thought out presentations. You will partner with writers, designers, marketing managers and product specialists in the development of presentations that will be used across a broad range of outputs (on-screen, iPad, print). This candidate must have the ability to communicate information and data effectively with the use of animation, builds, as well as the creation of easy to understand charts, graphs and diagrams.

Responsibilities

  • Create compelling and innovative presentations in collaboration with Creative Directors, Copywriters, and designers for both internal and external audiences.
  • Understand how to creatively execute a presentation through visuals, copy, infographics, animation, and video.
  • Strong ability to sell concepts to peers and mid to senior level management.
  • Distill an understanding of Creative Briefs to messaging solutions and clearly rationalize thinking and rationale.
  • Understand usability and design principles that help drive successful presentations.
  • Understand marketing challenges that meet measurable business goals and requirements.
  • Ability to work across multiple teams with guidance through influence to drive projects to completion.
  • Follow market trends and apply understanding of leading edge consumer engagement experiences to influence the effectiveness of content.
  • Understanding of how to measure and analyze engagement with audiences viewing.


  • Basic Qualifications
  • At least 5 years of professional PowerPoint presentation design experience.
  • Professional demeanor with high degree of comfort speaking with internal clients.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing high-end presentation design skills (i.e. animation, builds, dynamic charts and diagrams) and clean design aesthetic.


  • Preferred Qualifications
  • Expert knowledge of PowerPoint.
  • Strong understanding of Keynote, Presi or equivalent software.
  • Thorough working knowledge of Excel and Work.
  • Thorough working knowledge of Adobe Suite Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign..
  • Ability to uphold brand and style guidelines.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Offer key executives consultancy-type service when developing meeting and business update presentations.
  • Work well in a fast-paced environment.
  • Manage time effectively, to multi-task and meet deadlines.
  • Detail-oriented individual who reviews his/her work carefully.
  • Self starter with the ability to work independently.
