My client are looking for a Presentation Designer to work across the company on new business and client presentations.

Key responsibilities of the role:

The Presentation designer will be responsible for ensuring that key presentations are clear, professional and on-brand, so that information is displayed clearly and effectively – whether working on existing slides to ensure they are well laid-out, clear and consistent, or taking a team’s initial concepts and providing a range of creative options from scratch.

As well as building a PowerPoint deck, the designer will also produce accompanying charts, diagrams and illustrations and undertake basic photo editing (for example re-sizing or re-colouring) for images included in slides.

In addition, the Presentation designer will be responsible for managing the PowerPoint template library, and training staff on the day-to-day use of the software to ensure that everyone has the ability to produce basic presentations themselves.

Person Specification:

Experience in a similar presentation–focused design role, ideally within a corporate or B2B environment.
An eye for clean, consistent design.
Must be comfortable working in a busy, fast-moving communications environment – with the ability to work on multiple projects at once to competing deadlines.
Must be able to explain PowerPoint features and design principles to colleagues at every level, from Junior Account Executive to Partner.

Qualifications and skills:

Expert (trainer level) PowerPoint skills.
Adobe Illustrator, Indesign and Photoshop skills, or experience with similar software, together with good Excel skills.
An understanding of Keynote, Prezi and other presentation software would be an advantage but is not essential.
Relevant Design Qualification.
Experience of working with corporate brands, and the ability to work to brand guidelines.

As well as building a PowerPoint deck, the designer will also produce accompanying charts, diagrams and illustrations and undertake basic photo editing (for example re-sizing or re-colouring) for images included in slides.
