Presentation Designer

Contract with Fortune 500 Tech company in San Francisco with potential for extension or conversion!

A successful candidate in this role will be passionate about their craft and bring an imaginative approach to their work. They will be detail oriented and thoughtful about capturing the nuances of an idea. They will be able to quickly conceptualize an idea and be able to passionately align colleagues around creative concepts underpinned with solid reasoning. He/She will partner with writers, designers, marketing managers and subject specialists in the development of presentations that will be used across a broad range of outputs (on-screen, iPad, print). The candidate must have the ability to communicate information and data effectively with the use of text, icons, stock images, diagrams and tables built in Powerpoint.

Primary Responsibilities:
• Design emails, landing pages, templates, icons and Powerpoint based presentation materials that uphold brand and style guidelines.
• Source stock imagery for use in layouts/comps.
• Create strong graphic layouts based on directions provided by the Snr Designer or Art Director.
• Collaborate with development teams on design feasibility.
• Partner with internal clients on business goals from a visual and interactive standpoint.
• Participate in brainstorming and other idea-generating team sessions.
• Maintain high quality on creative and presentation deliverables.
• Multi-task and work efficiently under pressure.
• Formatting content and graphics, and managing printing
• Attend meetings and briefings with internal partners.
• Work with multiple stakeholders including vendors.
• Understand social media best practices.
• Understand analytics and reporting.
• Manage creative concepts from ideation to final sign off.
• Develop design concepts into layouts for online, mobile and print
• Work with internal teams to ensure that initiatives are fully executed and carried out successfully across multiple channels.
• Ensure that the final creative product meets the strategic communications goals.
• Work within scheduling requirements and across departments.
• Use all software programs needed to fulfill approved creative concepts.
• Manage the quality of execution from the production team.
• Travel when necessary.

Skills and experience:
• 5+ years experience-designing assets including emails, landing pages and supporting materials required for use in a post sale customer success engagements.
• 5+ years of advertising agency or design shop experience or with strong command of integrated marketing/advertising campaigns which includes digital (web, UI/UX, interactive, video) in addition to traditional advertising or design projects (print, OOH, events).
• A compelling portfolio of original work that's both conceptual and results-driven showcasing high-end presentation design skills (i.e. infographics, tables, charts and diagrams.)
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and eagerness to push the boundaries.
• Expert knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite, Google docs, and Powerpoint.
• Manage time effectively, to multi-task and meet deadlines.
• Detail-oriented individual who reviews his/her work carefully.
• Professional demeanor with high degree of comfort speaking with internal clients.
