PowerPoint Designer (with Excel Charting Skills)

Seeking expert PowerPoint user with strong Excel skills (charts and graphs) for a design/production role with a large financial/investment company in NYC (Tribeca).

Must be proficient in: PowerPoint, Excel, PhotoShop, Illustrator, and working knowledge of InDesign.

*This is a contract role, up to 18 months, on site in NYC.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Produce layouts for presentations, cover designs, and Pitchbooks, etc.
- Layout, production and pre-press of print and electronically-produced materials in accordance with company branding guidelines in a deadline-oriented environment
- Create charts & graphs with Excel to import into PPT
- Image research, manipulation and retouching as needed
- Produce high-quality work in a timely manner to meet client deadlines
- Quality check work to ensure accuracy
- Complete related admin duties for billing and tracking of project information in job-tracking software
- Provide quick, resolution of all issues and timely communication and feedback with clients are critical

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Portfolio/presentation of current work
- Strong presentation design skills
- Advanced knowledge Excel, including advanced charting (Single Charts, Broken Chart Scales, Scattergram Charts, Waterfall Charts, Stacked Cluster Column Charts)
- Advanced knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator and Acrobat, with working knowledge of InDesign
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to work as a team
- Organized, efficient time management skills with acute attention to detail
- Ability to cross-platform MAC-PC in all applications a plus
