Power Point/Marketing Specialist

One of our Fortune 500 financial services clients is in need of a talented Presentation Specialist who possesses close attention to detail and an eye for design!

Background:
The team seeks to provide a high quality service to internal clients through the editing and creation of PowerPoint presentations, Word documents and Excel reports, as well as providing expert knowledge in MS Office applications to raise colleague skills. The team works within two sets of branding guidelines often works to extremely tight deadlines and liaises with all levels of personnel, globally across the business.

The role:
The successful candidate’s key responsibility will be as GPS Publisher which involves the publishing and managing of slides in GPS. He/she will spend the remainder of their time (c. 50%) dealing with regular Creative Services activities and must be well versed in both brand Design Guidelines to ensure materials meet bank standards.

Ongoing duties
• Maintain GPS by uploading new/edited slides
• Manage the GPS Checklist; keep inventory of approved GPS slides and ensure correct
metadata applied to slides
• Deal promptly with any GPS issues: raise support tickets and keep detailed records of issues
in order to liaise with IT
• Edit/create presentations to ensure correct marketing messages and standards are met
• Edit/create biographies and org charts
• Be an expert of style guidelines
• Provide support in PowerPoint, Excel and Word and brand-specific toolbars and templates
• Liaise with internal teams to meet marketing material requirements

The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements
• Time management skills through effective scheduling and planning
• Attention to detail and accuracy
An eye for design and overall aesthetics
• Ability to demonstrate good judgement and a logical approach
• Ability to prioritize and work under pressure to meet demanding deadlines
• Excellent working knowledge of PowerPoint and Excel, with a good knowledge of Word.
• Clear verbal and written communication skills
• Friendly and positive approach to clients
• A pro-active, quick, enthusiastic and flexible approach.​
