Portuguese / Spanish Marketing Coordinator

The person in this role will be expected to develop a formal process and best practices for how to best manage the development of translated content for the website. They should have an advanced project management background and strong organizational and collaboration skills. They will work closely with key internal teams including Integrated Marketing Communications, eCommerce, IT, creative support, as well as an external translation vendor. They will be expected to be able to manage the process in order to provide deliverables to meet tight and somewhat, inflexible timelines to meet key launch dates.


Major Responsibilities:

  • Lead the documentation of the business process and strategy for the internationalization of current website for key languages: informal Spanish, formal Spanish, Queen’s English, and Portuguese.
  • Make recommendations on process efficiency throughout contract.
  • Utilize project management skills in order to define process best practices of how to work with the external translation vendor and how the translations are received, reviewed by internal stakeholders and feedback provided back to the translation vendor to meet tight timelines.
  • Collaborate closely with marketing representatives for International teams to understand the unique needs of each market and ensure those needs are applied to the website templates for each language.
  • Project management of the day-to-day deliverables for the internationalization of the website.
  • Ensure deliverables are supplied on time to hit key project milestones and maintain the financial integrity of the project.
  • Utilize organizational skills to balance multiple language specific projects with staggered delivery dates as well as prioritize tactic delivery and manage internal stakeholder expectations.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors
  • Ensure there is consistent alignment between all internal project stakeholders.
  • Submit projects deliverables for review and consolidate feedback across the web project team.
  • Proactively contributes to continuous process improvement by effectively identifying and addressing issues, and coaching the team to support the workflow design, and ensure there is consistent alignment between internal partners and other members of the project team.
