Pool - Strategic Sourcing Manager

The Strategic Sourcing Manager (SSM) will lead sourcing and vendor management activities for assigned vendors, categories and projects including, but not limited to, Facilities, Travel, and Human Resources. This individual must have a proven track record for developing and implementing sourcing strategies for one or more of these categories and must be able to lead cross functional teams to execute the strategies and complete related contract negotiations. The successful candidate must also have a strong understanding of contractual terms and conditions and demonstrated ability to write and negotiate contracts. The SSVM will focus on traditional sourcing models including portfolio analysis, planning, consolidation, supplier scorecards and vendor management. A strong understanding of one or more strategic sourcing models is desired but not required.

This position reports to the Sr. Manager of Strategic Sourcing, a dynamic and growing organization within Procure to Pay. In addition to the specific sourcing and vendor management responsibilities, this position is expected to contribute to the maturity of the overall function. This includes creating and refining processes, tools and templates that can be applied to across all vendors and categories worldwide.

Responsibilities:
•Ability to review and analyze data to determine cost savings opportunities through vendor consolidation and/or contract renegotiations.
•Develop and implement sourcing strategies for assigned categories
•Drive the RFx process through to completion; including requirements gathering, identifying go/no go criteria, scorecards with criteria and weighting, bidder's conferences, etc.
•Facilitate SOW and MSA - serve as a liaison between business and legal
•Help identify areas of risk for the business (i.e., delivery of service, quality, performance, timeline, warranty, governance); make recommendations where applicable
•Ability to insert oneself into business and recognize areas that require improvement and make recommendations for efficiency gain
•Measure vendor performance against contract SLAs and expectations. Initiate corrective actions in the event of missed expectations.
•Provide business with approved sourcing tools, processes, and knowledge to qualify vendors and manage vendor relationships
•Drive Supplier Review Meetings with key suppliers and senior level Autodesk stakeholders and provide input on performance and future needs/strategic planning
•Strong negotiation and presentation skills
•Ability to build and maintain relationships with internal customers / clients as well as vendors
•Ability to shine under pressure while dealing with changing priorities and timeline
Leadership/Management Skills
•Build and maintain (partnering) effective working relationship with assigned business area
•Highly effective interpersonal and technical skills necessary to obtain continued support from internal clients
•Highly developed business and communications skills necessary to successfully represent Autodesk in dealings with third parties
•Must recognize the importance of Win/Win
•Work with business units and corporate legal staff to prepare legally binding and enforceable documents
•Recommend systems and processes improvements to increase contract effectiveness within the enterprise
•Coordinate and provide contract and negotiation related training to business units
Education and Experience
•5+ years experience with Strategic Sourcing
•Excellent interpersonal skills
•BA or equivalent experience
