AQUENT has an immediate need for a Photographer for a year long contract opportunity with a large Fortune 500 company. The ideal candidate will act as the staff photographer for the Creative Services group, shooting both on-site, in-house studio and off-site at events as required. Manages the coordination of the photo shoot by securing product for shoot, arranging studio lighting and propping for tabletop shots. Works independently with other personnel and external partners (i.e., make-up artists, stylists and models when shooting off-site). Responsible for high-end retouching that can range from models to cosmetics to jewelry to cars. Displays high levels of retouching in the areas of color critical matching, image composition and deco replacement. Ensures that all images are delivered to the production team in a manner that is conducive for use in production mechanicals.

- Studio Photography. Will shoot the majority of in-house, studio photography. Will coordinate with the photo studio manager, set up studio lighting, and set up and style (with art director assistance) all propped product. Will photograph people including professional models, employees, etc. Typical product photography will include cosmetics, packaging, apparel, and jewelry. Quality of product photography must be high quality for Web and print use in print publications and eCatalogs.
- Location Photography. Will shoot location and event photography both on-site and local off-site events. Type of photography will include models, executives and other VIPs, and events such as awards ceremonies and company presentations. Will need to have both indoor and outdoor shooting skills, knowledge of how to properly set up reflectors and location lighting. Must be outgoing and personable with good social skills to interact with a variety of people who will be the subject of photography.
- Photo retouching and composition. Retouches and composites photography and images as needed to complete mechanical files. Strong understanding of sizing images, converting to a variety of formats, color correcting and color matching. Coordinates activities with Studio manager to ensure color accuracy and image quality. Retouching will cover a wide gamut of subjects including apparel, models, jewelry, cosmetics, packaging, cars, and much more. Must have a thorough understanding of production retouching; that is being able to properly prepare imagery for use in production mechanicals including separating RGB images to CMYK for use in print.
- Aids in organizing and maintaining digital files. Works with Studio manager to help organize and maintain digital file structures including archiving, adding metadata to images, and project folder organizations.
