Photo and Video Production Specialist

Our client, a major beauty company in San Fran is looking for a Photo and Video Production Specialist.
This is a temporary assignment for a 6 month period. Position will be evaluated in 6 months for review to continue.
The Photo & Video Production Specialist will be responsible for coordination of all the details involved in the production of all company product photography shoots and elements of video shoots. This position will support and assist the photo and video Manager.
Responsibilities:
Acquire product from sourcing, DC, PD, etc. to be used in photo and video shoots
Coordinate delivery of product to and from photo/video shoots.
Schedule product photography shoots:
• Product on white
• Packaging product photography
• Social product photography
• Beauty Rush
• B Level campaigns
• Coordinate with designers to pass along shot style to photographer
• Create product shot lists/shot guides for photographer
• Book photographer
• Book product stylists
• Schedule with designers to be on set during shoot and provide timely shot input
• Create contact sheets from photo shoot raw images
• Help designers facilitate product retouching with PDI
• Facilitate retouching for “web on white” product photography with PDI
• Archive final photography and videos on Creative Archive and DAM
• Initiate New Vendor paperwork including NDAs, Contract Summary Checklists, MSA/SOWs, Contract Request Forms, Vendor Request Checklists, Check Request forms, etc.
• Track advances and invoices
• Submit invoices for approval and payment by accounts payable
• Customize model releases per project and per usage specification
• Distribute model releases to agencies for signatures and resubmit to legal
• Submit model paperwork to Team Services for payroll
• Document model usage charts, updating FileMaker database
• Update Outlook Calendar with all model usage/expiration date documents
• Create casting review documents with model’s images
• Help maintain organization of prop closest, equipment, and photo shoot binders
Qualifications:
BA/BS or equivalent
1-2 years’ experience in a design/photo related field
Database management, Macintosh Operating System, Microsoft Office, FileMaker Pro, light Photoshop & InDesign
• Highly organized and detailed oriented
• Ability to make sound decisions, think strategically, focus on detail, problem solve, multi-task
• Must possess good organization, meeting management, time management, and excellent verbal and written communication skills
• High quality standards
• Great team player with strong project management skills
