Photo Production Coordinator

We are looking for a Photo Production Coordinator for our fortune 500 footwear client, in the Product Photo Studio department to provide compelling product imagery that elevates the brand vision. The Product Photo Studio is seeking a Pre-flight Coordinator to assist in the creation of dynamic product imagery. In your role as Pre-flight coordinator, you will build, manage, and maintain digital image/artwork assets necessary for the final production of images in our production workflow. This will include building digital files from existing assets, as well as, maintaining digital libraries of image/graphic assets. It will also include coordination with Production staff to ensure seasonal work is prioritized and completed within pre-defined timelines. Qualified candidates will be technical, flexible, have a strong attention to detail, very well organized, play well with others, and be fanatical about creating order from disorder.

Responsibilities
• Use a variety of tools to track and manage graphic files and libraries used by Image Editors in the creation of product imagery.
• Organize and maintain accurate mechanical specifications in order to build, prep and distribute graphic files.
• Work with team members to identify best practices in the image production workflow, and help to maintain workflow systems.
• Work with Producers and Management to identify and prioritize preflight work to successfully meet seasonal deadlines.
• Maintain the highest level of quality control of deliverables for consistency, accuracy, and completeness against brand standards.
• Anticipate problems and opportunities in order to bring them to the attention of the appropriate team members.
• Identify opportunities for process, file format, and technical improvements.
• Participate in seasonal reporting and team teardowns.

Qualifications / Experience
• 3 years of experience in a post-production role.
• Bachelors Degree in Design, Digital Arts or related field.
• 2+ years additional experience in lieu of degree.
• Must be self-motivated, well organized, results and detail oriented.
• The ability to work under tight deadlines and produce large quantities of work without sacrificing quality.
• The ability to understand, manipulate and apply layout or digital art specification information to facilitate image asset creation.
• Excellent knowledge of digital file management and server navigation.
• Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite with an emphasis on Illustrator.
• Knowledge of MS Office products in a professional setting.
• Knowledge of color and digital color application.
• Knowledge of image automation using scripting tools a plus.
• Knowledge of NCAA, NFL, MLB, and NBA sports teams a plus.
• Able to successfully manage multiple priorities against business goals.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Retail product knowledge and/or experience preferred, but not required.
