Photo Producer

We are looking for a Photo Producer to hire immediately for our retail E-commerce client in Seattle Wa. As the Photo Producer, you will be responsible for reading a creative brief, and then owning the bidding/evaluation process to source competitive bids for photographers, locations and support. The role requires a well versed, experienced Producer for still creative photo shoots. (Not family/event/portrait studio).

Candidates must be extremely well versed with MS office and be able to stand up a presentation to business partners as well as someone who has an existing rolodex of vendors or vendor companies they can reach out to get bids on projects.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Manage the beginning to end production process for assigned photo deliverables
· Engage, book, and manage production teams, creatives, and equipment for specific photo deliverables
· Provide status reporting for projects in-flight
· Create itemized budget estimates, and then manage project spend against approved budgets
· Create work back schedules and manage projects to schedule
· Communicate project statuses daily, flagging and troubleshooting potential issues
· Create weekly/monthly/quarterly reporting of all running and completed projects
· Maintain a high degree of attention to detail when managing project planning efforts, scheduling and budgeting

REQUIREMENTS:
· Self-starter that can operate efficiently within ambiguous situations
· 5+ years of professional experience as a photo producer or similar role with ad agency, design studio, or production company
· Related education or equivalent experience
· Advanced Microsoft Office user
· Possess strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to set priorities, multi-task and meet deadlines
· Demonstrate strong listening, problem solving skills



Primary responsibilities start with reading a creative brief, and then owning the bidding/evaluation process to source competitive bids for photographers, locations, support, etc, so the role requires a well versed, experienced Producer for still creative photo shoots.

Candidates must be extremely well versed with MS office and be able to stand up a presentation to business partners as well as someone who has an existing rolodex of vendors or vendor companies they can reach out to get bids on projects.

Role involves some travel to photo shoot locations, estimated at one time per quarter; candidates unable/unwilling to travel are not eligible.

Candidates who have been in in-house corporate creative firms/photo production units and or have photo production agency experience will be better suited to the role than other candidates.
