We are looking for a Photo Editor to help carry out post-production on product photography from camera to live site. The Photo Editor produces high quality images while maintaining a high volume workflow.

The Photography Team works on photo production for all new products that arrive to the photo studio everyday. As part of this team, the Photo Editor will need to color correct, clip, retouch, and upload up to 100 images in a day. We are looking for someone with experience in high volume photo production and who thrives in a busy/energetic photo studio.

As part of a small, dynamic team, the Photo Editor will be expected to work well in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment. He/she must be very organized; detail-oriented; tenacious yet tactful; a strong problem solver; and able to work well under pressure. Most of all, he/she must be passionate about great photography and the editing process.


• Prepare images from studio camera for website by retouching, color correcting, clipping, and cropping imagery
• Name, assign, organize and archive image files
• Upload image files to website
• Maintain the set standard for image post-production quality, ensuring that images are consistent and accurate
• Ensure all images for in-stock products are live and look awesome
• Work with Online Creative Director, Studio Manager, and Photographer to create and uphold new image production standards and processes
• Work with Photo Team to make sure image selects and special instructions for editing are communicated as well as make suggestions for improvements

Desired Qualifications

• 1-2 years experience in digital photography post-production
• 1+ years in retail ecommerce preferred
• Proficient in latest Adobe Photoshop, Bridge and Lightroom
• Proficiency in Photoshop must include selection tools, clipping paths, clone stamp, healing brush, actions, and layer masking
• Ability to analyze and judge color balance for digital photography
• Must pass a timed onsite photo editing test in Photoshop to test basic clipping, color correcting and retouching skills
• Good written and organizational skills
• Excellent time management and communication skills
• Consistent positive attitude
• Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure in order to meet daily deadlines
