Photo Editor & Coordinator (Part-time)

Our client- a global company with a portfolio of high-end brands- is looking to bring on a Photo Editor & Coordinator to join their downtown NYC team. This is a part-time opportunity (around 20 hours/week onsite.) Great opportunity to gain experience at a well-known international hospitality company.
This role carries a broad range of responsibilities. Some of the core will include: Stock photography searches; Negotiating contracts and expirations of stock images; Working with multiple teams to keep them updated on stock imagery statuses; Photoshoot production help (researching photographers, building estimates, contracts and timelines); Creating a database of recommendations by brand;

In order to be considered for this role, the candidate must have: Art buying experience (negotiations, research, contracts, photoshoot coordination); Experience working with multiple brands- and ability to closely know & recommend imagery and artists bests suited for that brand voice; Coordinate shoot talent, understand casting process and scheduling; Excellent communication and negotiation skills; Comfort working with Creative team to help with retouching & production outsourcing;; Attention to detail and knowledge of Photo Industry standards

Programs required are: Photoshop, Aperture, Light Box and InDesign
