The Philanthropy Manager will be responsible for managing employee programs and driving engagement, coordinating grantmaking processes, writing internal communications, overseeing vendor relationships, and performing administrative responsibilities.

Requirements:
• Manage the matching gifts program including serving as the primary contact for the vendor, reviewing and approving monthly reports, and preparing quarterly, annual, and other reports and analysis as needed
• Maintain and assist in the expansion of the employee grantmaking program by training employee volunteer leaders, reviewing grant applications, developing promotional materials, developing relationships with employees across eBay’s portfolio of businesses and geographies, and coordinating efforts with our online grant application vendor
• Evaluate grant applications, perform impact analysis, and develop summary reports
• Assist in the administration of local corporate giving and charitable sponsorships
• Respond to Foundation and corporate philanthropic inquiries
• Prepare summary reports on eBay’s giving, including responses to CSR industry surveys
• Perform general administrative duties for the Foundation as well as the larger Social Innovation team such as meeting coordination, payment processing, and maintaining files
• Develop and coordinate internal communications for Foundation programs which may include intranet articles, informational materials, and eNews publications

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelors Degree (e.g., BA, BS) required. Graduate degree preferred.
• 5+ years professional experience in a private or corporate foundation, CSR role, or nonprofit environment (or graduate degree plus 3 years work experience)
• Demonstrated passion for the mission and vision of eBay Foundation and the Social Innovation team
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Experience in and knowledge of corporate responsibility and the foundation space, including key stakeholders and organizations, as well as industry best practices and guidelines
• Strong project management skills with attentiveness to details and consistent follow through
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and make good use of time management skills
• Experience working with vendors on outsourced programs such as matching gifts, volunteer management, and grant application programs
• The ability to work confidently and thrive in a rapidly changing, fast-paced and results-oriented corporate environment where a high degree of flexibility is required.
• A strong team player with the ability to work collaboratively and comfortably with people of diverse skills, levels, experience and geographies
