【Permanent: Creative Manager (Publishing) 】Entertainment and Media Enterprise

▼Principal Responsibilities as a "Creative Manager"
・Develops and implements creative/ design strategies to maximize commercial and brand opportunities as well as to achieve annual budget in cooperation with Sales person.
・Builds strong relationship with each licensee by providing licensee's needs based creative idea/ merchandising proposal which make full use of company brand/ characters.
・Support creative leader to build design strategies for Publication category using company brand/ character
・Acts as an ambassador for the category and maintains current knowledge of Publication trends.
・Communicates findings to team and senior management.

▼Requisite Qualifications and Experience
・Professionally knowledgeable about editorial design, graphic design, trends and manufacturing procedure. Must be able to identify and develop consumer and retail trends.
・Able to translate new concepts into marketable, salable product and able to present own concept and ideas to internal and external clients.
・Commercially astute designer with solid strategic mind based on client's needs and an active hands-on approach to design.
・Previous work experience: Minimum of 6-8 years experience of editorial or graphic designer.
・Must be an optimistic/ positive mind person.
・Professional attributes:
- Graphic design skills/ experience
- Strong communicator who is able to identify client's needs and present the proposal effectively.
- Brand management expertise
- Communication skills to internal and external clients as a team player
- Japanese: Native level, English: Conversational level or higher (Business level preferable)
