Partner Development Associate

A Diagnostics client of Aquent is looking for a Partner Development Associate to help with client communications! This is a contract role for 3-6 months.

Responsibilities:
• Develop new partnerships via telephone/cold-calling and mass communication such as email and social media to introduce the company as a partner
• Conduct a needs analysis for the assigned US territory
• Interface effectively with the Sales Operations team as well as the sales representatives in the territories to which they are assigned.
• Follow up on leads and conduct research to identify potential partners
• Identify key influencers within these prospective partners to determine contracting process and timeline
• Follow up on pending contracts with prospective partners
• Manage data for new and prospective partners in Salesforce.com, ensuring all communications are logged
Requirements:
• High School Diploma, Bachelor's Degree in related field preferred.
• 1-2 years sales experience.
• Strong aptitude to acquire product knowledge and proper dissemination of knowledge to customers.
• Ability to speak clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations; listens and gets clarification; responds well to questions.
• Excellent computer-based and telephone skills.
• Exceptional and demonstrable customer service skills.
• Ability to multi-task and successfully prioritize workload.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Experience in diagnostics/medical industry preferred.
