Partner Account Manager

This is a role focused on driving developer tools revenue and awareness through the reseller partner channel. Will be will be responsible for working with reseller channels to maximize the pipeline and sales execution for solution/product revenue in the Market space.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Work closely with the Product Marketing Manager and reseller Partner channel to drive licensing and revenue growth in the Segment.
• Ability to speak to the Developer Tool offerings, value proposition and licensing and deliver education and training sessions.
• Proactively (outbound through data mining) and reactively (through passed leads and marketing event follow-ups) work with the reseller partners to deliver and support partner sales opportunities.
• Deliver Business Value discussions and other sales presentations (including Live Meeting sessions) to both Microsoft reseller partners and our mutual customer accounts.
• Track Opportunities and Pipeline with Partners through systematic touch points.
• Working with Marketing to educate Large Account Resellers, Distribution and VARs to drive Developer Tools sales in SMB.
• Work with Product Marketing Manager to develop reseller Partner campaigns and incentives to drive Developer Tools revenue and pipeline.
• Deliver product readiness and best practice sharing to partners.
• Provide feedback around partner opportunities and growth to key internal stakeholders.

Qualifications:

Required experience in the following areas:
• 3-5 years’ experience in technology sales or channel partner development.
• Level 100 knowledge of the software development process and application lifecycle management, including the ability to talk to all stages of the development cycle: requirements gathering, develop, test, deploy, etc.
• Knowledge of .Net and competitive development languages.
• Passion for technology and solid knowledge of Mid-Market IT requirements and competitive offerings.
• Ability to work independently with strong execution skills.
• Demonstrated sales revenue forecasting.
• Proven track record at achieving measurable sales goals in a high paced environment.
• High level of experience using Microsoft Office.
• Strong verbal and written communications, teaming and interpersonal skills.
• Ideal candidate is enthusiastic, adaptable, and proactive with an entrepreneurial spirit.
