Part-time Photographer

Our client, a healthcare company, is seeking a part-time (30 hours/week to start) Photographer to be able to manage a variety of requests for access to archived images and portraits and events photography.

The ideal candidate will act as the key point of contact for a large Medical system, managing existing photography to deliver requested images quickly and work as well as working as a staff Photographer, partnering with the Creative Services team. Photo shoots will take place primarily at their in-house studio and on campus for events. There are also occasional requests that require travel within the area to cover events or meetings, mileage will be covered.

Key Responsibilities:

-Manage a high volume of requests from Medical and Marketing professionals. Work to schedule and coordinate photo shoots with clients, managing expectations and prioritizing requests.

-Use strong knowledge of lighting and supplemental lighting to be able to create good photos within situations that do not allow for flash photography. Work with studio lighting to create ideal conditions for large volume of portraits. Work with defined list of shots.

-Responsible for high-end retouching, including color correction, image composition etc. Ensures all images are archived and organized with key words. Uses Photoshop, LightRoom and Capture One to assist in maintaining archive and cataloging images.

-Maintains flexible, outgoing and personable demeanor with good social skills to work with photography subjects, as well as the internal stakeholders making the requests.

-Effectively multi-tasks and manages time to accommodate large volume of fast turnaround requests. Covers requests for off-hours photography – including early morning, evening and weekends.

-Coordinates activities with Creative Director to ensure color accuracy, image quality, and stylistic direction in line with client objectives.
